Dear Jaki and John,

Having just seen the report in the Lymington Times about the Fawley Parish Council website, I am writing to add my own congratulations to you both on this well deserved recognition.

This is a good example of Parish Council going the "extra mile" and I would like to add my thanks for all the work you are doing to make this possible.

With kind regards and best wishes
yours sincerely

Cllr, Rod Earp, Lowestoft, Suffolk.

Re your new website post Hantsweb judge's comments- old website too long to scroll down.  I think actually your new site is magnificent. I am green with envy. I would love to make as professional a site.  Unfortunately I think the judge was right. The new website is shorter and you have less trouble to scroll down. You are brave and courageous to redo it- this shows sensitivity and dedication to provide a user friendly site.

Please see Hants Web runner Up Award.

"I would like congratulate you on the quality of your web site. It is packed with all the information that we all need to know. Its obviously an excellent source for information for those of us who used to live in the village in the past, but who now have moved away from the area. Seeing some of the old faces publised on the site, bring back memories of how the village was.

Keep up the good work.
"

John Cutler

"P.S. I would be very interested is you have any info on Fawley Historians, especially if they have a web site."

Hello to all of you in Fawley! I was surfing the net here in Melbourne when I found your site!

I emigrated from Winchester just over twenty years ago so it was good to see a friendly website! Keep up the good work and I hope you get many emails from around the world.

John and Jaki

Thank you for sending me the links to the healthy walking pages on the Fawley web site. I am very impressed with the work that you have done, it looks very professional. We are currently evaluating the healthy walk routes, hopefully to secure further funding but also to take on board peoples comments for improvements. We have a questionnaire which I have attached, I have not made this into an online form as yet, is this something that you may be interested in putting on the Fawley web site? I see that you do have a section for comments, if you do received any feed back on the routes it would be very helpful if these could be forwarded to me.

Thanks very much and well done on a good job.

Hello John,

The way you have used the Echo stories is fine - particularly as they link back to the This is Hampshire Archive pages.

I am VERY impressed by your site. I like the layout and the clean lines. Also it is easy to use which is so important to ensure users will want to return to use it again.

Well done John and good luck in the Hants Web Awards!

Just like to say thanks to the webteam.

Your website has been an inspiration to me while trying to layout and work on, my own town website.

I found your site through Google.com, and now I come back mow and then, just to see the new ideas design team have come up with for the site.

I used to work in Fawley when it was a thriving village, it is nice to see what is going on around their via your site.

I talk to my parents on a regular bases and it is nice to log-on after our conversations and see what is going on in the parish after all this time.

Good work guy's, keep it up!

I've just had a look at you excellent website and I'm very impressed. You already make mention of my football, Hythe Strikers however would it be possible to add a link to our club website on the links page and also the Sports Club page.

Hi

As a resident of Fawley I was pleased to find the Parish Web site and its looking good.

There seems to be a few problems however as many of the links seem to be broken.

One of them is the Feedback form hence this email.

My main reason for viewing the site was to see if there is any mention of the noise problems we are having in Ashdown Road due to the new plant that was installed in the refinery late last year.

I understand that it will not be resolved before the end of this year. I have complained to the Environmental Health Services at Appletree Court but have heard nothing since (except for the noise)

I Hope your website gets better soon.
