The New Forest Show features all the attractions that have made it so popular for the best part of a century, bringing traditional country pursuits, new exhibitions and demonstrations to this unique event.

Main additional events this year include the Band of Her Majesty's Royal Marines, Bobb Hogg's Sheepdog Display and the Shetland Pony Grand National.

There is a full range of equestrian classes, livestock competitions plus a new poultry section, rabbits, cage birds, and honey bees.

Countryside features woodland activities include thatching, lumberjack sports, chain saw sculpture and demonstrations of modern forestry techniques.

The horticultural marquee features many nationally acclaimed flower entries, and will again host the National Vegetable Society Southern Championships, with an additional class for local amateur vegetable growers.

With over 500 trade stands there is a wide choice of stalls to visit including antiques, crafts, wine and beer, not forgetting the popular food hall.

There are a whole range of other attractions to suit young and elderly alike from a 4 Wheel drive course to demonstrations of country crafts with perennial favourites like the terrier racing there to delight everyone.

The Forest Fun Factory arena is a haven for children with entertainments all day long and the blacksmiths will have live competitions plus an African Forge.

We are proud to host the world pole climbing championships with the hope that our local current champion will gain the crown again this year.
