Sunday, was a glorious day, not only for the weather, but for the hundreds of people who visited Calshot Spit and enjoyed the Open Day organised by the Calshot Life Boat Station.

Calshot, with its population of 332 people, historically had everything against them, but over the past 18 months, the community spirit has been unleashed creating an inspirational village community thanks in part to the Calshot Neighbourhood Group.
