The Team also provides the Council with essential expertise on all tree-related matters to fulfil statutory obligations and in an advisory capacity to colleagues within the Authority. We also give advice to other statutory bodies, professionals, amenity groups, schools, landowners and members of the general public.

An out-of-hours emergency call-out service on 023 80285330 (Tree Helpline) deals with dangerous trees and enables immediate investigation of unauthorised work to protected trees.

The Team promotes good working relationships with local tree work contractors and maintains strong links with tree officers both nationally and internationally.
