Parish Councils Website. If you're having problems obtaining
pages within the site, it's a good idea to check this page.
This way you can check whether there is any maintenance being
carried out on the site or to the server or if there are any
technical difficulties being experienced at the present time.
Our main aim is to provide you with as much information as
possible so you get the most out of your visit to the Fawley

of the council. who will pass on the information to the

Address
Fawley Parish Council is currently running two web addresses
for our website, address one is www.fawley-hants.co.uk. This
Address will end its life in September 2005. Our new address
www.fawleyparishcouncil.org.uk is now fully up and running
and will supersede the old address as from September
1st 2005. This means that all current links to the site need
to be changed before or by September 1st, 2005 to the new
address. It is expected that links within the site would
have been completely updated to the new address by December
2004. This will not change the way you personally access
the site. Search engines such as Google, Lycos and Yahoo
are now running and using both addresses. |

ALL online forms have now been fixed and should not give any
problems to site users. The E-mail address on the site will
be up and running correctly very soon, if you fine one not

on the fault and are changing the code within the web pages.

EVERYTHING
IS GO!
On Monday night, Tuesday morning we placed on the server the
NEW layout of the Fawley Parish Council Web Site and we also
added 290 new pages to the site. If you find any broken links
or other problems please let the webmaster
know and we will rectify these problems as soon as possible.

Maintenance Work
From today (Sunday 8th June) until Sunday 15th June 2003 we
are carrying out maintenance work on the site. Most of the
changes to the site will happen over night from 1.00am to
3.00am. If you can not find a page you are looking for please
try our Site Search which
will be updated each night to take in the changes within the
site.

THE SITE AND THE WORLD WIDE WEB
We have changed the way our search engine relays information
requested by the user. We hope that ALL Search boxes accross
the site now operate properly after the changes implemented
over the past few days. |

We have change the page size layout of the graphic site. The
new size is 770pix accross. This is to help users who have
screens set at 800 x 600pix resolution, currently our largest
web audience. (71% Jan to March 2003) |
